Avow

Product

One conversation in. A complete submission out.

Avow takes the first, slowest part of placing commercial insurance off your team: gathering what the client does, how big it is and what could go wrong. Here is what it does, for the client and for you.

For the client

Say it in their own words

Clients speak or type what they would tell a new colleague. Avow reads it and pre-fills what it can: turnover, payroll, headcounts, vehicles, the year they started trading, the registered name and places abroad.

They confirm, not re-enter

Everything Avow picked out is shown back for the client to check and correct. The risks it noticed are put to them in plain words.

Only the questions that matter

The questions that follow are built from the sector and the covers that fit. Nothing is asked that the covers don't need.

Companies House built in

A lookup fills in the company's registered details, so there is less to type and fewer mistakes.

A client area to come back to

After they submit, clients keep their policies, documents, changes and claims in one place, and can report a claim to their broker from it.

Consent on the record

Submitting records the client's consent to share their details with insurers, and tells the firm.

For the broker

  • A console for every client and submission, with a pipeline and reports.
  • Underwriting flags in the client's own words. Higher-risk or unusual work, such as firearms or adult entertainment, raises a flag that quotes what the client said.
  • Hand-over inside the firm. Managers see every enquiry. Account executives see the ones assigned to them, and are notified when one is handed over.
  • A market presentation in PowerPoint, built from the submission and in your brand, ready for the underwriters.
  • Invite a client with their own link or QR code. You see whether it is waiting or started, and you are told when it is opened.
  • International work covered. Where the top company is, and country by country, for firms that trade abroad.

White-label

Your name on every screen

A firm that buys seats sees Avow in its own name, logo and colours, for its staff and its clients. The sign-in page, the client's enquiry, the console and the presentation all carry your brand. A quiet "Powered by Avow Ventures" credit stays, and it links back to this site.

On any device

An app, without an app store

Avow can be added to a phone's Home Screen or a computer's Dock. It keeps its files on the device, so it opens even with no signal, and it offers each new version when there is one.
